Go to Pay.gov
Fill out the form. Guidance: atf.gov/sot-form-5630-7-instructions
Enter payment — debit/credit card, ACH, and more accepted
Review for accuracy
Submit
Note: If you have multiple locations, attach a PDF listing all of them. A valid FFL is required for each location.
Timing
Payment is due by July 1st each year
ATF typically begins accepting renewals in April — renew as early as possible
Allow 2–3 weeks for the physical SOT to arrive — anticipate delays during renewal season
Once received, upload the image in your dealer portal to be verified by a Silencer Shop associate
