M4SD

Specs, features, and variants for the Griffin Armament M4SD family: M4SD II, M4SD-L, and M4SD-K 5.56mm quick-detach suppressors.

Griffin Armament M4SD Series

The Griffin Armament M4SD family is Griffin's flagship line of 5.56mm quick-detach rifle suppressors. All three models use the GATE-LOK™ SDQD mounting interface — a wear-free, ratchet-free system compatible with USGI A2 spec compensators and Griffin's proprietary GATE-LOK muzzle devices, precision-ground to ten-thousandths of an inch for minimal, repeatable POI shift. All are constructed from 17-4 PH stainless steel and are full-auto rated. Mounts accept standard NATO A2 flash hiders with no proprietary mount required on the host.

Key Features

  • GATE-LOK™ SDQD mounting: wear-free, ratchet-free QD system; mounts natively on standard A2 NATO flash hiders — no proprietary host modifications required

  • M4SD II: billet-machined 17-4 SS chassis (tube body) — the heart of the suppressor is stronger than any tube-based design; integrated flash suppressor front cap reduces flash signature

  • M4SD-L: tubeless laser-welded construction for reduced weight without sacrificing durability

  • M4SD-K (MOD 5): ECO-FLOW™ baffles minimize backpressure; full Inconel blast baffle for duty-use durability and short-sprint performance

  • All mounts precision-ground to ten-thousandths of an inch for minimal, repeatable POI shift

  • Founded 2005 by combat veteran sniper brothers — manufactured in Watertown, WI
