Customers choose how they'll register their NFA items during the buying process. Each option below sets out who can be a responsible party, who can be a beneficiary, what it costs, and where the customer can get one.
Registration Options
Individual — Free
The purchaser is the only permissible responsible party.
Single Shot Trust — $24.95
Silencer Shop Exclusive
Covers one NFA item only.
Can add responsible parties, but not beneficiaries.
Can be purchased by the customer through Silencer Shop or by the dealer during order creation.
Not available in Iowa or Vermont.
Single Shot Trust Unlimited — $129.95
Silencer Shop Exclusive
Covers an unlimited number of single shot trusts.
Can only be purchased by the customer through Silencer Shop.
Silencer Shop NFA Gun Trust — $129.95
Silencer Shop Exclusive
Covers unlimited NFA items.
Can add responsible parties.
Can add beneficiaries.
Can only be purchased by the customer through Silencer Shop.
Outside Trust — BYO (Bring Your Own)
Customer can upload their trust through their customer portal (fastest option).
Customer can also email their trust to [email protected].
