FFL Swap
If your FFL number has changed, follow the steps below to update your account. Getting this right keeps your transfers moving without interruption.
Note: If you have a new FFL number AND a new EIN, you will need a brand-new account created. See the section below.
What to Send Us
Email your assigned Dealer Sales rep with the following. If you can't reach your rep, email [email protected].
Updated image of your FFL
Same EIN? If yes, please provide an image of your SOT
Reason for the FFL swap (location change, ownership change, etc.)
How you plan to handle any pending transfers
Reminders
Make sure your new FFL number is linked to your eForms account.
If you did an address change, make sure your SOT matches — otherwise your Form 3 could be denied.
Once we have all this information, we can move forward with getting the account information changed and sent to compliance.
New FFL AND New EIN? You Need a New Account
If both your FFL number and EIN have changed, we need to create a brand-new account. We cannot use the email already linked to your current account — you must provide a new email.
To move forward with the new account, provide your Dealer Sales rep with:
Current FFL and current SOT image
Resale Tax Cert (or equivalent)
Customer-facing phone & email (must be different from what you currently use)
Email for your dealer login (must be different from what you currently use)
Who checks should be payable to
Internal phone & email (if different)
Name, Title, and Email of the person certifying Form 4s (usually NFA Manager)
Name, Title, and Email of your FFL RP (if different)
Once that is complete you will get a new Powered by Silencer Shop Dealer Agreement to sign.
